Mahalo nui to Thom Randall for this write up and the @suncmtynews for sharing our story.

“LAKE GEORGE | A three-day festival that celebrates retro Polynesian pop culture and its mid-century aesthetics has been held annually in Lake George since 2009 under the radar of most area visitors and local media.

Last week, “Ohana: Luau at the Lake” returned to the historic Tiki Resort, the festival’s traditional site — and one of the few remaining original Polynesian-themed destinations in the nation.

Fueled by rum cocktails including Mai Tais, the offbeat event attracted revelers from about 20 states across the U.S., including Hawaii, for non-stop partying, socializing, and expressing a collective keen sense of humor.”
