2023 Theme Announced!
Kick the weekend off on Thursday night! We’ve been to space, fought monsters, gone on a cruise, relived the prom, traveled back to the 50s to go bowling, traveled even further back to the stone ages, and many other adventures!
14th Annual Ohana Cocktail Showcase
Go get a bottle & get those cocktail shakers warmed-up for the 14th Annual Ohana Cocktail Showcase!
Show off your mixology skills to our esteemed panel of judges (and audience) and compete for a fabulous trophy, prizes, and bragging rights!
Ohana Mystery Bowl Auction
In addition to our marvelous silent auction, some very special members of the Fraternal Order of Moai also help us to raise money in a unique and wonderful live auction for the Mystery Bowl! In homage to the Mystery Girls of the classic restaurants the Kahiki and the Mai Kai, the mystery bowl, a bowlful of a delicious and potent tropical cocktail, is auctioned off live on Saturday night at Ohana, and presented with a wonderful (and sometimes zany) dance by one of our own Moai. The bowl is the high bidder’s to keep, as well as the cocktail inside, serving four or more. A new recipe for this delectable cocktail is custom created each year for the event.
All proceeds from this live auction go directly to scholarships for college students of indigenous Rapa Nui descent.
Ohana Room Crawl
Exotic libations served up by your friends with a generous dose of creativity, and over-the-top decor!
The Room Crawl is a Round Robin of cocktails and noshables served up by our attendees purely in the spirit of Aloha. They mix the drinks, decorate their rooms, and roll out the red carpet for everyone, all out of the goodness of their hearts. Remember to tip! And a reminder as you crawl... Its a marathon, not a sprint.
Interested in hosting a room crawl at Ohana? Let us know!
Saturday night brings a traditional Luau with Kalua Pig and all the fixings. Slow cooked all day in authentic Hawaiian style!
And while eating, prepare to be dazzled by the Pearl of Paradise Polynesian Dinner Review. Traditional hula and fire dancers will entertain and delight you while you enjoy the tastes of Polynesia.
Ohana Mini Golf Challenge
Hit the links, Lake George style – in the Mini-Golf capital of the Northeast!
Did you know that there are dozens of mid-century mini golf courses in the Lake George area? We fully recommend a mini-golf excursion as part of the full Ohana Luau at the Lake experience! If you’re a really, really good (or exceptionally bad) putter, enter our annual Mini Golf Challenge for your chance at a trophy and a year’s worth of bragging rights. Trophies are awarded on Saturday night right before the big Luau.
Play a round of golf at any of the local courses, then bring your completed scorecard to the Ohana Merch table under the vendor tent. There are trophies for the best and worst scores. Be sure to get your scorecard in by 4pm on Saturday afternoon to be considered. Good Luck!
Vending and Silent Auction
All weekend you’ll be thrilled by talented artists who will tempt you with their classic art and all sorts of goodies! Visit our vendors/artists who will be selling their items under the tent!
Also check out the magnificent Silent Auction in the Waikiki Supper Club. Thousands of vintage and tiki related items await your bids. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Easter Island Foundation!
Free Goodies and much, much more!
All attendees will get one of our famous Swag Bags, full of fantastic goodies, souvenirs, and Ohana Magazine!
Ohana Luau at the Lake is full of great entertainment and events, but we have paced the weekend so you’ll have plenty of time to see and do everything, while still having lots of time to socialize and relax.
