Ohana, the Biggest Little Event in Tiki, started in 2009 at the historic Tiki Resort in Lake George, New York. Ohana is not only the Fraternal Order of Moai’s largest yearly gathering, it is also our biggest fundraiser for the Easter Island Foundation.
OHANA is designed with those full of aloha spirit in mind. This is the weekend to don your snappiest aloha wear and meet up with hundreds of your closest friends at the USA’s last full service Polynesian themed resort outside of Disneyland.
The best part of this weekend of wonder? It’s for a great cause! Ohana is what we call FUN WITH A PURPOSE. Fabulous people show up (hint, that’s you), we all have an unforgettable weekend, and we raise money for scholarships for college students of Rapa Nui ancestry, in partnership with the Easter Island Foundation.
Enjoy a specialty cocktail in the Tiki’s vintage lobby bar, Paradise Lounge. Wander down to the Waikiki Supper Club and place your bids on some newly coveted vintage treasures in our silent auction. Luxuriate in the sounds of the best lounge and retro DJs. Meander through the faux palm studded grounds and enjoy the revelry of a zany room crawl, or catch some world class surf bands by the pool.
Are you the envy of all your friends when you mix drinks at parties? Enter our cocktail contest! Sign up for a seminar or rum tasting, or shop for tiki mugs, vintage clothing & accessories, and hand carved tikis in our vendor tent. Enjoy a fantastic Luau under the stars with phenomenal Polynesian dancers and a pig roast! Add ice and a few hundred new and old friends and shake, and voilà - you’ve got the perfect recipe for an unforgettable weekend of Polynesia in the Adirondacks.
